Son Ho-jun tears up as Min Do-hee searches for cafe shifts

Min Do-hee's current status seeking cafe work

Actor Min Do-hee was seen looking for a part-time job at a cafe to make a living during her hiatus between projects.

In the SBS variety show 'My Little Old Boy' aired on the 26th, the process of Min Do-hee checking a job posting for a cafe near her house and calling them directly to continue her job search was depicted. During the interview process, Min Do-hee stated, "I have about 1 year and 3 months of experience working in a cafe," but she was not hired by the first cafe because she lacked experience working closing shifts. She attempted to contact other cafes as well, but received responses that they were looking for long-term employees.

Following repeated rejections, Min Do-hee contacted the owner of a cafe where she had worked in the past to share her concerns. Min Do-hee said, "Since there is time left after the musical ended until my next project, I am looking for a part-time job in the neighborhood, but it is not easy." In response, the cafe owner offered encouragement, saying, "You will do well anywhere."

Min Do-hee's mother, who appeared in the studio, shared, "Her self-esteem dropped significantly after going through a long period of stagnation. I told her to just go out somewhere first, and after starting work, she seems to have regained her vitality and much of her self-esteem."

Son Ho-jun's tears and the visit from 'Reply 1994' colleagues

Actors Baro and Kim Sung-kyun, who worked together with Min Do-hee in the tvN drama 'Reply 1994', visited Min Do-hee's house.

Baro relayed, "When I told her you were working part-time, Ho-jun (Son Ho-jun) hyung was so upset that he cried." Recalling the situation at the time, Min Do-hee said, "I had a sudden meetup with Baro and Ho-jun oppa after finishing my part-time work. Even though oppa had a drink, he cried while asking, 'Why do you have to work part-time?'"

Kim Sung-kyun added, "Ho-jun was very worried because Do-hee didn't answer her phone for a few days. He worried that she might have been hurt because he cried." At the time, Min Do-hee had been unable to be reached due to her mobile phone being broken.

Min Do-hee made a name for herself playing the role of Jo Yoon-jin in the 2013 tvN drama 'Reply 1994'. Recently, she has been continuing her life as an actress by personally seeking employment to fill the gap between her musical activities and her next project.
