DIA’s Eunchae lays bare her uneasy leap from idol stage to acting
On KBS Joy’s Ask Anything, former DIA member Eunchae opens up to Seo Jang Hoon and Lee Soo Geun about identity struggles and her August musical challenge.
Kwon Chae-won, who was active as a member of the girl group DIA, has opened up about the realistic struggles she faced during her career in the entertainment industry.
In a preview for the KBS Joy show 'Ask Anything' aired on the 27th, Kwon Chae-won appeared as a client and confessed her feelings to MCs Seo Jang Hoon and Lee Soo Geun. During the broadcast, Kwon Chae-won stated, "I was always in an ambiguous position wherever I went," revealing her struggles regarding her identity from her idol days to her transition into acting.

Kwon Chae-won used the stage name 'Eunchae' while active as a member of DIA, which debuted in 2016. Later, she participated in the 2023 SBS audition program 'Universe Ticket' but was eliminated midway; since her elimination, she has been active as an actress under her real name, Kwon Chae-won.

Kwon Chae-won also revealed her future activity plans. She said, "In order to show you my true self, I am also challenging myself with a musical in August." The preview also captured a moment where Kwon Chae-won performed a live song on the spot at the request of Seo Jang Hoon and Lee Soo Geun.
KBS Joy's 'Ask Anything,' featuring Kwon Chae-won, will air on August 3 at 8:00 p.m.
