The connection between the two began through an introduction from an acquaintance. At the time, his wife was an aspiring actress, and the two got to know each other by exchanging contact information as seniors and juniors. However, the relationship grew distant and contact was eventually lost when an acquaintance directly conveyed Nam Chang-hee's interest to his wife.

The decisive factor that reconnected the severed relationship was an SNS message. When Nam Chang-hee posted on his personal SNS to promote fellow singer Showry's new song, his wife sent him a message first.
Nam Chang-hee explained the situation at the time, stating, "I posted Showry's song 'Will Love Come?', and a reply came from my wife saying, 'Is love coming?'" After checking the message, Nam Chang-hee said, "It was a situation where I had to charge forward no matter what," and revealed that he went straight to his wife's house the very next day.
Nam Chang-hee expressed his gratitude to singer Showry, who played a decisive role in this process, saying, "I always tell her thank you."
