The First Record of 'Pi-cheol-in', the 'All-Rounder Producer on the Street'

Dino, a member of the group Seventeen, is presenting his first mini album 'Gilboard' as his alter ego 'Pi-cheol-in'. Scheduled for release on August 3, this album showcases his side as an artist, with Dino participating in the lyrics for all tracks and contributing to the composition of a total of 6 songs.

Seventeen Dino to Release First Mini Album Under Alter Ego 'Pi Cheol-in'

'Pi-cheol-in' is a character with the ambition to permeate the daily lives of the public through music. Claiming to be an 'all-rounder producer on the street,' he has built a unique worldview of sampling people's stories and remixing them into music.

A Diverse Tracklist Featuring Hitchhiker and Lee Hyun-do

This album stands out for its genre variations. The title track 'Nol-a-bo-se (prod. Hitchhiker)' combines EDM trap sounds with Korean sentiments, with producer Hitchhiker in charge of composition and arrangement. The song's completeness was enhanced by sampling the signature sound of Hitchhiker's representative song '$10'.

The tracklist is also diverse. It includes 'Jjan (feat. DINO)', which harmonizes brass sounds with hip-hop beats; 'Jeong-mal (prod. Lee Hyun-do of DEUX)', featuring a New Jack Swing beat; the warm-toned 'With Affection and Love'; and the city pop sound of 'There Is No Painless Farewell (narr. Lee Moon-se)'. In particular, the final track 'LIKE IT' contains Dino's autobiographical message about feeling alive when dancing.

Dino appeared on the YouTube channel Dingo Music's 'Album Spotlight' on the 27th, showcasing his vocal abilities by pre-releasing the tracks as a live medley. The previously released 'Michyeo Michyeo' music video also recorded 2nd place on the YouTube daily popular music video chart in Korea.

Confirmed Appearance at 'MADLY MEDLEY 2026' in September

Dino has confirmed his appearance at the music festival 'MADLY MEDLEY 2026', which will be held at the Seoul Culture Depot on September 5 and 6.

Dino, who is included in the Sunday lineup, will take the stage alongside 'Nori-dogam', a solo project by Silica Gel's Kim Chun-chu, and Rakunearama. The first lineup released earlier included AKMU, Monsta, and The Rose. General ticket reservations for the festival are being conducted through Melon Ticket, NOL Ticket, To the Moon, and Trip.com.
