Lee Dong-gun says on TikTok Live that his Aewol cafe in Jeju Province is reorganizing from July 9 as he prepares Seoul operations.
Jeju Cafe Operations Suspended, Seoul Reopening Announced
As the Jeju Province cafe operated by actor Lee Dong-gun enters a period of reorganization, he has signaled a new beginning in Seoul. On the 8th, Lee Dong-gun shared his recent updates while communicating in real-time with fans via a live broadcast on his TikTok account.

During the broadcast, Lee Dong-gun directly stated, "I recently suspended operations at the Jeju Island cafe." The cafe, which opened in Aewol-eup, Jeju Province in April last year, garnered significant interest, even operating a pop-up store in Seongsu-dong, but it was recently decided to take time for reorganization. The cafe's official account announced via a notice on the 6th that it would be undergoing a reorganization period starting July 9.
However, this suspension does not mean the business is closing permanently. During the live stream, Lee Dong-gun added to his future plans by saying, "I am preparing for business in Seoul."
Communicating with Fans via TikTok Live... "I Want to Meet Overseas Fans Too"
During the broadcast, Lee Dong-gun actively engaged with fans using the TikTok platform. Before starting the live stream, he expressed his intention to communicate by pre-announcing, "I am trying to meet you all through TikTok Live. I started this because I thought it would be a great opportunity to meet not only people in Korea but also those living overseas in real-time."
During the broadcast, Lee Dong-gun built a sense of connection by immediately greeting fans who expressed gratitude for joining his fan club or sent sponsorships. He also shared small details of his daily life, saying, "I had a meal with my father today. It was a rewarding day."
Meanwhile, Lee Dong-gun has temporarily paused his acting career following the 2023 Netflix series Celebrity. He is currently revealing his daily life through SBS's My Little Old Boy and will continue his activities by joining JTBC's Divorce Mediation Camp starting this month.
