Singer Lyn has spoken out regarding rumors circulating in the music industry about her being a "scary senior."
On the 26th, during the SBS variety program "My Little Old Boy," Lyn drew a line against the so-called "discipline leader" rumors surrounding her. During the broadcast, Lyn went on a day trip to Gunsan, Jeonbuk, with comedian Cho Jin-se and singer Hwang Chi-yeul.
During the meal, Hwang Chi-yeul brought up the topic by mentioning when he first met Lyn in 2007. Hwang Chi-yeul said, "I saw you while doing music shows, and I heard rumors that you scold juniors very harshly if they are impolite or arrogant."
To this, Lyn immediately clarified, "I have never once scolded a junior directly." Regarding the background of how the rumor spread, Lyn explained, "If I feel a rookie singer needs to be more polite, I speak directly to the CEOs of their agencies before they get scolded even more severely elsewhere." Her intention was that instead of reprimanding them herself, she chooses to advise the CEOs so that juniors do not face difficulties due to etiquette issues.
