Yuria’s Jeju fish-restaurant run-in has Jang Hang Jun laughing
Girls' Generation's Yuria revisits a Jeju encounter with Jang Hang Jun on KBS 2TV's Happy Together, plus her latest acting and variety plans.

On the 7th, during the broadcast of KBS 2TV's 'Happy Together - Happy Because We Are Not Alone,' Yuria, appearing as a special MC, revealed her past connection with Director Jang Hang Jun.
During this broadcast, Director Jang Hang Jun recalled a time before the movie 'The King's Warden' was released, when he happened to run into Yuria at a raw fish restaurant while she was staying in Jeju. Director Jang Hang Jun and Yoon Jong-shin teased Yuria, saying, "Back then, Yuria treated us a bit insignificantly," and "She didn't even answer," turning the set into a sea of laughter.
In response, Yuria replied, "When I happened to see you in Jeju, I really didn't know you would become like this, but now you've become someone difficult to approach."
A career spanning from a 19-year veteran singer to an actress
Having debuted in 2007 with her 1st single 'Reunited Worlds,' Yuria has released numerous hits as a member of the group Girls' Generation, including 'Gee,' 'Tell Me Your Wish,' and 'FOREVER 1.' As a solo singer, she continued her activities by releasing her 1st mini-album 'The First Scene' in 2018.
Her steps as an actress have also been steady. She has appeared in dramas such as 'Gogh, The Starry Night,' 'Innocent Defendant,' and 'Bossam: Rewind,' and has recently built her filmography with a special appearance in the drama 'Lovely Runner' and an appearance in 'Parole Examiner Lee.' In the movie 'No Breathing,' she played the role of Yoon Jung-eun, attracting 450,000 viewers.
Joining 'The Zone' as a fixed member and the 2026 Fanmeeting Tour
Her activities continue in variety shows as well. Yuria recently joined the fixed cast of the Disney+ original 'The Zone: Survive Must Live Season 3' alongside Yoo Jae Suk and Lee Kwang-soo. Additionally, starting from 2026, she is scheduled to join tvN's 'World Food Merchant Challenge Baek Sajang 3' to showcase Korean food overseas.
Meanwhile, Yuria plans to meet fans through the 'YURI 3rd Fanmeeting Tour 'YURIVERSE'' in January 2026, including a stop at ZEPP New in Taipei, Taiwan.
