KBS2 revives Happy Together-Glad We're Not Alone on the 10th, with Lee Hyori joining Yoo Jae Suk, Yoon Jong-shin and Jang Hang Jun.
"I'm glad we could all gather without anyone going down the drain." Lee Hyori reunites with Yoo Jae Suk on 'Haetu' after 6 years.

6-Year Return: 'Haetu' Featuring Lee Hyori Premieres on the 10th
KBS2's 'Happy Together' is returning after a six-year hiatus under the new name 'Happy Together-Glad We're Not Alone' (hereafter 'Haetu'). Set to premiere on the 10th at 8:30 PM, the program follows a storytelling music audition format that captures the narratives and harmonies of various life teammates.
Lee Hyori has been cast as the first special MC for this project. As the iconic former female MC of 'Happy Together,' Lee Hyori will once again work alongside Yoo Jae Suk and Yoon Jong-shin through this comeback. Although she had received numerous offers for various audition programs in the past, she decided to appear specifically considering the brand symbolism of 'Haetu.'
The MC lineup consists of Yoo Jae Suk, Jang Hang Jun, and Yoon Jong-shin. Yoo Jae Suk will lead the hosting, Jang Hang Jun will add richness to the stories, and Yoon Jong-shin will provide musical depth as they listen closely to the participants' stories and performances.
"Grateful to Gather Without Anyone Going Down the Drain": Lee Hyori's Honest Wit
At the recording site, Lee Hyori led the atmosphere with her signature candidness. When Yoo Jae Suk mentioned her more composed recent life, Lee Hyori replied, "I'm grateful that we can all gather without anyone going down the drain," sending the set into fits of laughter.
Her reunion with Yoo Jae Suk and Yoon Jong-shin, who have been called the 'siblings' of the variety world for 20 years, also drew significant attention. While revealing her previous intention to decline audition-style genres, she confessed her true feelings that she decided to appear because of the name 'Haetu.'
A Reversal in Judging: Declaring Harsh Criticism Only to Burst into Tears 3 Seconds Later
As a judge, Lee Hyori demonstrated both sharpness and sensitivity. Before the formal judging began, she teased Yoo Jae Suk, Jang Hang Jun, and Yoon Jong-shin by asking, "May I give some harsh criticism?" However, as soon as a participant's performance began, she showed a surprising side, bursting into tears just 3 seconds later.
After the stage ended, she led the atmosphere with a provocative confession, stating, "Every song reminds me of an ex-boyfriend." Lee Hyori's judging style, which oscillates between emotional tears and unfiltered confessions, aligns with the storytelling nature of the program.
