From Miss Korea to Chinese Star, Choi Yeon-cheong's Turbulent Career

Appearing as a guest on episode 539 of JTBC's 'Knowing Bros' aired on August 8, Choi Yeon-cheong revealed her past as a former Miss Korea Jeonbuk Sun and an actress who worked in China. Born in 1993, Choi Yeon-cheong majored in traditional Korean music and debuted as a model after winning the Jeonbuk Sun title in the 2013 Miss Korea pageant.

She later signed with a large Chinese agency and was active there, but she had to suspend her activities for about two years due to the onset of thyroid cancer in 2020. Choi Yeon-cheong married in June 2023 and shared that she has a son born in 2025.
