Sim Soo Bong steps onto EBS 'Space Gonggam' as Noizegarden roars back

EBS 'Space Gonggam' will feature a diverse array of musicians spanning various genres throughout the month of August. The highlights of this lineup include the debut appearance of music legend Sim Soo Bong and the return of rock band Noizegarden after 27 years.

Sim Soo Bong's First Appearance and Noizegarden's Return After 27 Years

Music maestro Sim Soo Bong will take the stage on EBS 'Space Gonggam' for the first time. During her scheduled performance on August 20, she will perform live versions of her recently released single 'Pum-eo-jul An-a-jul' alongside her beloved signature hits.

The rock band Noizegarden will close out the month of August. Celebrating the 30th anniversary of their first album, Noizegarden returns after 27 years with a new song, 'Pado.' Reorganized with a new vocalist, they are set to showcase their signature intense sound.

From R&B Rookies to (G)I-DLE's Soyeon

The beginning of August will be filled with rising stars and talented musicians. On the 4th, R&B artist Yoon Da-hye will open the month based on her first full-length album 'Ant King,' followed by BIG Naughty on the 6th, who will perform following the release of their new EP 'Between Cobalt and Navy.'

In the third week, Soyeon will appear, showcasing her skills as an idol producer. Performing on the 18th, (G)I-DLE leader Soyeon will deliver a live performance reflecting her identity as a solo artist.

The second week features performances blending jazz and traditional Korean music elements. On the 11th, Yangban, representing 'Pungnyu,' will deliver the message of their new album 'Wings of the Phoenix.' On the 13th, 10-time Grammy Award winner drummer Louis Nash will form the 'Louis Nash Trio' with pianist Kang Jae-hoon and bassist Kim Dae-ho to perform authentic jazz.

All EBS 'Space Gonggam' performances are free of charge. Audiences can apply through the 'Performance Info and Admission Application' page on the official website, and winners can be checked on the website after the application deadline for each performance.

Meanwhile, on August 27, the final audition of the year, 'September Hello Rookie,' will be held at Hyundai Card UNDERSTAGE in Yongsan. Ten teams that passed the first round of music release screening will compete in live performances for a spot in the finals. Performances take place every Monday and Wednesday and can be watched on EBS 1TV.
