I-dle's 'We made' pulls Latin pop hitmakers into its orbit
Soyeon and Yuqi help shape I-dle's 9th mini album 'We made,' with Samantha Cámara and Alyx joining before Lollapalooza Chicago.
(G)I-DLE's 9th mini album, 'We made', released on the 6th, is garnering significant attention in the global music market. Returning six months after their previous digital single 'Mono (Feat. skaiwater)', this new release maintains the group's unique identity as members Soyeon and Yuqi personally contributed to the credits.

This album draws particular interest due to the involvement of Latin pop rising star Samantha Cámara. Having worked with artists such as Kenia OS, Nicky Jam, and Danna, she expressed her affection, stating, "As a fan of (G)I-DLE, participating in this 'We made' project feels like a dream come true." Producer Alyx also shared, "I am proud to collaborate with such bold and confident artists who represent all forms of love and people in the world."
EUPHORIA highlights the diverse sounds and title track 'Gimme Dat Love'
The British music magazine EUPHORIA evaluated that through this album, (G)I-DLE presented a rich sound inspired by various genres, including hip-hop, K-pop, bubblegum, rap, soul, soft rock, and ballad.
The title track 'Gimme Dat Love' deals with the instinctive sensations felt after falling in love. It is characterized by whistling sounds and sing-along elements inserted in the middle of the track, with a standout addictive chorus performed by the members. Among the B-sides, 'Morning' features prominent synth sounds, while 'Love Is Pain', composed by Yuqi, expresses the pain left behind after love through a slow-tempo ballad.
