I-dle's Minnie confessed that ahead of her new beginning at age thirty, she has learned how to care for and comfort herself. Recently gracing the cover of the fashion magazine Elle's special project 'Elle D Edition,' Minnie showcased both girlhood innocence and a mature atmosphere through the pictorial.

In the past, when faced with difficult situations, Minnie struggled to accept them and would wander aimlessly. She would even push herself so hard that she couldn't sleep due to anxiety, even on her days off. However, she has now gained the maturity to first acknowledge a situation and then consider the next step. "Telling myself 'you did well today' provides more strength than I thought," Minnie said, adding that she realized that resting sufficiently is also an essential process for sustainable activities.

Her persistence toward music continues even off the stage. Recalling the production process of I-dle's new album 'We Made,' Minnie explained the musical color of the work. This album moved beyond the existing refreshing image to focus on capturing the team's intense version of love.

In particular, there was fierce deliberation during the recording of the title track 'Gimme Dat Love' to increase its perfection. Minnie revealed, "I re-recorded many times until I could express the voice and emotions Soyeon wanted." She expressed a serious attitude toward music, stating that she feels the greatest satisfaction when the voice she imagined in her head is realized in the actual result.

A Special Time Living as Actress 'Lucy'

Alongside her path as an artist, she also continued her challenge as an actress. Minnie played the role of 'Lucy,' the first lead, in a remake of the Thai film 'First Kiss is the 50th.'

Minnie said this challenge meant more than just a simple experience. "The time spent living as someone other than Minnie was truly special," she recalled, noting that by playing Lucy, she could become a much freer and more flexible being than her original self. The time she spent so deeply immersed that she remained within the character's worldview for a while even after filming ended left her with many lessons.
