I-dle polishes lift heights and hat angles before Hong Kong's 80,000
I-dle's July 29 YouTube episode shows Yuqi, Minnie, Shuhua and Soyeon rehearsing the Hong Kong Kai Tak Stadium concert before Macau.
From lift heights to hat angles, meticulous preparation for 80,000 spectators
On July 29, (G)I-DLE released behind-the-scenes footage (EP.07) of their '2026 i-dle WORLD TOUR [Syncopation]' Hong Kong concert through their official YouTube channel. Rather than focusing on their glamorous appearance on stage, this video captures the intense time the members spent during rehearsals to stand before nearly 80,000 spectators.

In the video, the members did not miss even the smallest detail of the stage. While preparing for her solo song 'M.O.', Yuqi carefully checked whether her sleeves would get caught on instruments or microphones, and she inspected the stage composition by verifying the visual differences caused by the LED screen size and the lift that rises to a height of 3.5m.
Repetition for a fleeting moment, rehearsals filled with the members' sincerity
The members' concerns continued even during short movements on stage. Minnie revealed her nervousness ahead of her new solo dance break, and Shuhua repeatedly retraced the hat movement during the 'Red Redemption' intro section that follows 'HWAA'. In particular, Shuhua made efforts to increase the perfection of the performance by tidying her outfit and hairstyle even during the brief moments of moving to the back of the stage.
This concert, held over two days on June 27 and 28 at the Hong Kong Kai Tak Stadium, proved its intense heat by drawing approximately 80,000 spectators following the Taipei Dome (approximately 36,000 people).
From Hong Kong's heat to Macau, the journey toward the end of the tour
The heat from the Hong Kong concert continues to the final city of the tour, Macau. During the encore stage on the second day of the concert, Soyeon announced the news of the additional Macau performance, which recorded a complete sell-out as soon as ticket reservations opened on July 23. (G)I-DLE will conclude this tour at the Macau Galaxy Arena on August 29 and 30.
Previously, (G)I-DLE continued their summer activities on July 6 with their 9th mini album 'We made' and the title track 'Gimme Dat Love'. Following their appearance at the Lollapalooza stage held at Chicago's Grant Park in the US on July 31 (local time), they are scheduled to wrap up the final journey of the tour in Macau at the end of August.
