SORAN plans an 'Indie Waterbomb' where buckets keep instruments dry

Planning 'Indie Waterbomb' with ideas gained from Sung Si-kyung's performance
The band SORAN is planning a new type of festival, drawing inspiration from Sung Si-kyung's performance.
On the KBS show 'The Seasons - Sung Si-kyung's Ear-Pleasing Boyfriend' aired on the 18th, SORAN revealed they gained the idea from the Busan performance where Sung Si-kyung participated as a guest. Taking inspiration from the sight of Sung Si-kyung performing while getting hit by rain, they are preparing a project titled 'Indie Waterbomb Jjolttak Show.' The plan is currently in the concretization stage, and artists who perform live, such as Kwon Jeong yeol (10cm), have already expressed their intention to appear.
Using buckets instead of water cannons to protect instruments
SORAN proposed a unique operating method considering the characteristics of band performances. This is to prevent the risk of electric shock accidents that could occur if instruments get wet.
Unlike typical water festivals that use water cannons, they are envisioning a method of placing jars around the stage and splashing water with buckets. The core idea is to maintain a 'dry state' where the artists and instruments do not get wet. They also mentioned an operational policy that if any audience member throws water toward the stage, they must leave immediately.
Release of new mini album 'Layer'
Meanwhile, SORAN will release their new mini album 'Layer' on September 18th.
Having already released three singles this year, SORAN's upcoming album contains a total of five songs, including the three existing singles and two new songs. The title track is 'Just Before Breakup.'
