Nexz made an immediate mark on KBS 2TV's long-running music variety program Immortal Songs, taking the trophy on its first appearance on the show. Episode 766, aired on July 25, was presented as Part 2 of the 2026 King of Kings special, bringing together winners from the first half of the year for a head-to-head contest.

Five teams competed for the gold trophy: Lynn and Jo Jazz, Min Woo-hyuk with Jo Hyeong-gyun and Kim Joo-ri, K.Will, Kim Dong-jun with Young Tak, and Nexz. In the broadcast, Nexz not only won on its debut appearance but also became the first JYP Entertainment artist to win Immortal Songs. Tomoya said that vice president J.Y. Park personally offered praise and congratulations.

Lee Chan-won then drew a lively reaction from the Nexz members by bringing up J.Y. Park's earlier beef pledge. On a previous broadcast, Nexz had asked J.Y. Park to buy them hanwoo, premium Korean beef, if they won. Tomoya admitted that the group had not yet received the beef, expressing disappointment over the still-unfulfilled promise.

Lee Chan-won raised the stakes with a bigger proposal. He suggested that if Nexz won that day, the members should ask for a Japan travel vacation for the entire group. By adding an all-member Japan holiday to the existing beef pledge, Lee framed the idea as a major deal, and the Nexz members responded with loud cheers as anticipation for the result grew.

For its stage, Nexz chose Rain's "It's Raining" and delivered an intense performance. The members voiced strong confidence before the performance, saying that anyone who watched their stage would have no choice but to be drawn in. Lee Chan-won, appearing as an MC for Immortal Songs, also acted as a spokesperson for Nexz during the segment.

Part 2 of the 2026 King of Kings special aired on KBS 2TV at 6:05 p.m. on July 25. The first-half special was arranged after Forestella recorded seven consecutive wins and an all-kill victory, with Nexz making its first appearance in the King of Kings lineup.

The broadcast also featured Forestella, Hwang Min Ho with Soo Yeon Lee, Libelante, Park Seo-jin, and B1A4. Forestella was noted in the episode for its seven consecutive King of Kings wins and all-kill victory. Immortal Songs airs every Saturday at 6:05 p.m. and is a music variety program with more than 700 episodes broadcast.
