The 763rd episode of KBS 2TV's 'Immortal Songs,' airing at 6:05 PM on the 11th, is presented as the 'Artist Kim Tae Won Special' to commemorate Boohwal's 40th anniversary. During the broadcast, as Jo Jazz sang 'Never Ending Story,' the title track from Boohwal's 8th album, MC Lee Chan Won naturally reminisced about the past.
Lee Chan Won recalled those days, saying, "In my third year of middle school, I used to go around singing this song at auditions for the top 3 agencies." He then revealed the reason for his failure, causing laughter on set, stating, "I sang it in a trot version and got rejected immediately." Lee Chan Won spontaneously reinterpreted 'Never Ending Story' in a trot version on the spot, prompting Kim Shin-ui to express admiration, saying, "Your ability to handle any song in a trot style is unrivaled."
