NEXZ expands global reach from Japan arena tour to Brazil with new EP 'Hellmate'
Following their successful first Japanese arena tour, NEXZ continues global activities with their third Japanese EP 'Hellmate' and upcoming appearances at Rock in Rio and STRAYCITY.
NEXZ, a boy group under JYP Entertainment, is continuing their global activities by releasing their third Japanese EP 'Hellmate' after completing their first Japanese arena tour. NEXZ successfully concluded their first arena tour, 'NEXZ LIVE TOUR 2026 “Hellmate”', which spanned Tokyo and Osaka, with solo performances held at Osaka-Jo Hall in Japan on June 12 and 13.

During this tour, NEXZ showcased stages for songs such as 'Simmer (Japanese Ver.)', 'HYPEMAN', and 'Beat-Boxer'. They communicated with the audience by utilizing wide movement paths and enhanced the quality of their performances with acrobatic stages featuring dancers.
The concert was divided into vocal, rap, and performance unit stages, revealing the individual colors of the members. The core achievement was demonstrating the team's stage presence even within the scale of their first arena tour.
Third Japanese EP 'Hellmate' features 5 tracks
Carrying on the momentum of the tour, NEXZ released their third Japanese EP 'Hellmate' on June 24. The album highlights NEXZ's unique free energy and includes a total of 5 tracks: the title song 'Hellmate', along with 'Hands up, Yo!', 'Can't hide', 'Mmchk (Japanese Ver.)', and 'Hellmate (Instrumental)'.
The title track 'Hellmate' is a hip-hop track characterized by old-school hip-hop style DJ scratching. It carries a message of moving forward by believing in their own rules without being bound by worldly conventions.
The music video, featuring a playful devil concept and mysterious visual beauty, received reactions from global fans that it showcases NEXZ's even more distinct individuality.
First music show win in April, Brazil stage previewed for September
NEXZ, consisting of 7 members—Tomoya, Yu, Haru, So Geon, Seita, Hyui, and Yuki—recorded their first music show win since their debut during promotions for their 2nd single 'Mmchk' last April. With the completion of their Japanese arena tour, they are expanding their position as global artists.
The next stage extends to Latin America. NEXZ is scheduled to attend the large-scale Brazilian music festival 'Rock in Rio' this September and will also participate in the new festival 'STRAYCITY' held in three regions of Latin America to meet fans worldwide.
