Kang Si-woo (played by Seo In-guk) and Cha Ji-yoon (played by Park Ji-hyun), whose choice to look out for one another ultimately led to their separation, are meeting again. Through still cuts from episode 9 of the tvN Monday-Tuesday drama 'Going to Work Tomorrow Too!', which airs on July 20, 2026, it was revealed that the relationship between the two has entered a new phase.

In the previous episode, the two underwent deep conflict. Cha Ji-yoon released her suppressed emotions, revealing that she could not handle Kang Si-woo's past, while Kang Si-woo expressed his apologies but ultimately turned away without holding onto her.

In the released stills, Cha Ji-yoon visits the front of Kang Si-woo's house with a contemplative expression. Her complex emotions are evident as she carefully places a doll gifted by Si-woo next to a baseball while checking a text message from him. After a moment of silence, the two finally embrace, marking their moment of reunion.

"Can't we change the present?" Kang Si-woo's direct approach

Upon reuniting, Kang Si-woo shows his determination to hold onto Ji-yoon. In the episode 9 preview, Si-woo approaches Ji-yoon, saying, "I can't change the past, but couldn't we change the present?" The core of this episode lies in how the relationship between the two, which drifted apart due to past issues, will change through their present choices.

'Going to Work Tomorrow Too!' is an office romance depicting the story of Cha Ji-yoon, an office worker in her seventh year suffering from everyday ennui, who meets her prickly boss, Kang Si-woo. It portrays the process of them becoming each other's irreplaceable best in both work and love.
