Watching Ju I-jae running toward her dream, Woo Su-bin recalled the memory of his first love from 15 years ago and confessed, "I like you, I-jae." The two shared a poignant moment, finally exchanging the kiss they were unable to share when they were 19 years old. However, Woo Su-bin decided to step back himself, fearing his feelings would become an obstacle to Ju I-jae's future. Ju I-jae also accepted Woo Su-bin's choice, prioritizing the completion of her film. The two promised to maintain a distance as colleagues rather than lovers, saying, "Let's meet as colleagues once the revised script is out."

The true feelings of the two facing past wounds

Facing their past wounds, the two revealed their guilt and determination toward each other. Woo Su-bin felt deep guilt after learning about the aftereffects Ju I-jae suffered from a past car accident. While Woo Su-bin blamed himself upon seeing the scar remaining on Ju I-jae's ankle, Ju I-jae instead comforted him. Ju I-jae confessed that her regret was directed not at Woo Su-bin, but at herself for having to give up her dream due to the accident.

Ju I-jae ran around the playground to show that the aftereffects of the accident no longer held her back. Conflicts on set and Woo Su-bin's support

The realistic difficulties faced by novice director Ju I-jae during the film production process were also depicted. Woo Su-bin suggested a division of roles for efficient work, but Ju I-jae felt alienated, misunderstanding that Woo Su-bin had excluded her from the set out of consideration for her condition. In particular, Ju I-jae burst into tears upon witnessing the assistant director (Kim Jin-uk) making disparaging remarks about her background.

Watching the situation, Woo Su-bin stepped up for Ju I-jae. Woo Su-bin clearly pointed out that 'Gyeongseong Yeon-ga' was the scenario Ju I-jae had been writing since her third year of high school, emphasizing that Ju I-jae was performing her role as a director.
