Actor Hwang In-youp's ENA drama 'Dream to You' is seeing massive success in the Asian market. According to the weekly chart results for the third week of July (July 13–19) from the global OTT platform Viu, 'Dream to You' ranked number one in both Indonesia and Thailand.
Interest in the series is spreading across Asia. It ranked second in the Philippines and Hong Kong, and third in Malaysia and Singapore, securing top positions on the charts of six major Asian countries. The drama is a romantic comedy centered on the reunion between genius film director Woo Su-bin (played by Hwang In-youp) and a reporter living hand-to-mouth, Ju Yi-jae (played by Lee Hye-ri).
Maintaining Stable Domestic Viewership Ratings in the 2.7% Range
Alongside its global success, domestic viewership ratings are showing a stable trend. 'Dream to You,' which airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10 PM on ENA, recorded a 2.7% viewership rating during its premiere on the 13th. After seeing slight increases through episode 3, the rating returned to 2.7% for episode 4, which aired on the 21st, maintaining its core audience.
Hwang In-youp is demonstrating his status as a leading actor in this project, leveraging the global fandom he has built through works such as 'True Beauty,' 'Why Her?,' and 'Family by Choice.' In this particular series, he showcases his romantic chemistry with Lee Hye-ri.
