The character stills for the new ENA Monday-Tuesday drama 'Dream to You,' released on the 10th, capture the contrasting sides of Oh Ha-na, played by Lee Yul-eum. From a cold appearance exuding an untouchable force to a quirky and lovely side with sparkling eyes peeking over sunglasses, her various moods are captured in a single scene. While she appears haughty on the surface, the stills reveal Oh Ha-na's complex personality, harboring a kind and delicate heart.
Oh Ha-na is the daughter of Ahn Su-hee (played by Park Ji-young), the head of the major agency Topline Entertainment. A former Miss Korea, she is a 'born entertainer' who has never experienced life outside the camera lens. Although she lives the glamorous life others envy, she is a person who has never truly possessed a dream of her own.
The Change Brought by Meeting Bit Player Shim Yu-geon
Oh Ha-na's life, which had been walking a predetermined orbit, undergoes a transformation upon meeting Shim Yu-geon (played by Baek Sung-chul), a bit player. The connection between these two, who stand in stark contrast as a glamorous top star and an unnamed bit player, serves as the catalyst that makes Oh Ha-na reflect on herself for the first time. The internal changes Oh Ha-na experiences through a fresh romance in her 20s will be one of the crucial flows of the drama.
'Dream to You' is a romantic comedy about genius film director Woo Subeen (played by Hwang In-youp) and survival-oriented reporter Ju I-jae (played by Lee Hye-ri) reuniting after 15 years to rewrite an unfinished movie and a love story. Amidst the contrast between Woo Subeen, who achieved his dream, and Ju I-jae, who lives having forgotten her dream, Oh Ha-na is expected to form another axis and lead the emotional lines of the series.
Directed by Yu Seon-dong and written by Jung Eun-bi, 'Dream to You' will premiere on July 13 at 10 PM on ENA. It will be available for exclusive streaming via Genie TV and TVING.
