Yoo Seung-ho Takes the Lead in Desert Survival Experiments

Actor Yoo Seung-ho demonstrated his ability to lead teammates through extreme environments. Appearing on the EBS anniversary special science reality show 'The Last Humanity,' Yoo Seung-ho participated as one of seven members alongside Lee Eun-ji, BIBI, Jang Dong-seon, Lee Nak-jun, Jang Hong-je, and Kim Han-Kyul.

Set in the near future of 2038, where the Earth's systems begin to collapse due to climate disasters, the cast performed survival missions within 'Biosphere 2,' an artificial ecosystem located in the Arizona desert, USA. Whenever a mission was assigned, Yoo Seung-ho was the first to step forward, actively dividing roles among the team members.

In particular, Yoo Seung-ho's judgment during crisis situations drew significant attention. While using a lift for seed germination, he personally checked the safety equipment of his colleague BIBI, and during the process of making fertilizer pellets, he provided a clue to solving the mission by suggesting the use of toilet compost.

In the latter half of the program, Jane Pointer, an original crew member who survived in 'Biosphere 2' for over two years from 1991 to 1993, appeared. The seven cast members sat down with Jane Pointer to discuss the living conditions of that time and the principles of maintaining a closed ecosystem.

During the conversation with Jane Pointer, Yoo Seung-ho shared his thoughts, stating, "Living here has made me more interested in Earth, and it has become an experience that will allow me to carry a heart that cherishes the planet for the rest of my life."

Confirmed Special Appearance in 'Chaebol X Detective 2' as Sculptor Yoo Seong-won

Having shown a responsible side through the reality show, Yoo Seung-ho is returning to the acting set. He will make a special appearance in the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Chaebol X Detective 2,' which premieres on August 7.

'Chaebol X Detective 2' is a collaborative investigation drama featuring Jin Yi-soo, a chaebol detective who uses his wealth to flip the investigation, and Joo Hye-ra, a new team leader. Yoo Seung-ho will play the role of Yoo Seong-won, the youngest son of a media conglomerate and a sculptor, portraying a chilling and unpredictable character that contrasts with his existing image.
