SBS drama Chaebol X Detective 2 reveals a bigger Season 2 scale, from Mexico filming to Yoo Seung-ho’s tense new mystery.
The chaebol detective, who mobilizes capital when investigations hit a wall, has returned. For Season 2 of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Chaebol X Detective 2', Violent Crimes Team 1 showcased an even larger investigation scale, including deploying a private jet.

Through a commentary video, the actors shared behind-the-scenes stories from the filming site. Ahn Bo-hyun conveyed the heat of the set, mentioning the hot weather in Mexico and the difficulty of adjusting to the time difference. Director Kim Jae-yong emphasized the importance of the first scene of episode 1, stating that the focus was on showcasing the protagonists' characters.

There were also directorial attempts to capture the unique atmosphere of South America. Director Kim Jae-yong explained that the rhythmic feel of South America was implemented through instruments and music. The actors also shared that thanks to the use of costumes and instruments, they were able to film action scenes with even more vitality. Kim Shin-bi expressed her thoughts, saying she enjoyed being able to express her character's growth through acting involving pepper.

Amidst the refreshing investigation process, Yoo Seung-ho is adding tension to the drama. Yoo Seung-ho is portrayed as a person with a chilling obsession for sculpting beauty, and the process of his identity gradually being revealed was teased through the ending of episode 6.
Currently, the drama is unfolding tensely, alternating between Ahn Bo-hyun and Jung Eun-chae's process of finding clues by acquiring new information and the appearance of a fleeing suspect.
