Joon Park turns a theater he never bought into Galgari Team's legacy

Park Jun-hyeong, Park Seong-ho Attend 30th Anniversary Event

On the afternoon of July 24, the 14th Busan International Comedy Festival press conference was held at the Shocking K-Pop Center in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. Kim Jun-ho, the executive chairman, and Choi Dae-woong, the deputy executive chairman, along with Lee Hong-ryeol, Jo Yoon-ho, Shin Bong-seon, Park Jun-hyeong, Park Seong-ho, Im Hyeok-pil, and Shin Yoon-seung, among other comedians, attended the event. Park Seong-ho Shares Regret About 'Galgari Hall' with Park Jun-hyeong

Park Seong-ho shared a touching moment with Park Jun-hyeong about the 'Galgari Hall.' He said, "In the past, there was a place called 'Galgari Hall' in Daehak-ro. As time passed, I told Jun-hyeong, 'If you had bought that theater, you would have made a lot of money and created significant profits. It's so regrettable.' But Jun-hyeong replied, 'Even though I didn't buy the theater, the fact that it allowed many juniors to earn money and bring laughter to the people gives it a much greater value.'" Park Seong-ho said, "That made me realize I still have a long way to go. I was truly moved. It's wonderful to have a friend who thinks like that," revealing warm emotions.

Im Hyeok-pil Announces Sand Art Performance

Im Hyeok-pil announced that he will perform sand art at this event. He said, "I never thought the 30th anniversary would pass so quickly. It's an honor to perform together. I've recently started doing sand art, and I plan to present it in this show." Im Hyeok-pil also made audiences laugh by revealing his catchphrase, "If you're not coming to Bucop, then everyone leave." He expressed gratitude to his colleagues at the press conference, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Galgari Team.

As Asia's first and largest international comedy festival, it features domestic and international comedy artists. This year, the festival includes programs commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Galgari Team, with the activities of the 'Galgari Family,' including Park Jun-hyeong, Park Seong-ho, and Im Hyeok-pil, drawing attention. At the press conference, the domestic and international performance lineup was revealed just one day before ticket pre-sales.
