BICF 14th Edition Confirms 'B-Class Hearing' Cast

The 14th Busan International Comedy Festival (BICF) press conference was held on the 24th at the Shocking K-Pop Center in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The cast of 'B-Class Hearing'—Nam Ho-yeon, Choi Sung-min, and Kim Seung-jin—attended the event. The three are scheduled to perform across Busan from August 21 to 30 during the festival.

Choi Sung-min Makes First BICF Appearance

Choi Sung-min is making his debut appearance at the Busan International Comedy Festival through 'B-Class Hearing.' At the press conference, he said, "I hope this is not my first and last time. I heard BICF is Asia's largest comedy festival, and I'm very pleased to participate." Choi Sung-min is currently hosting the regular 'B-Class Hearing' program until December 2025, and this performance will take place concurrently.

Nam Ho-yeon and Kim Seung-jin Bring Past BICF Experience

Nam Ho-yeon participated in the 12th BICF in August 2024 as a co-host of 'B-Class Hearing,' and Kim Seung-jin performed solo at the 11th BICF in August 2023. Nam Ho-yeon said, "This press conference is a significant event for the 14th BICF. When I participated before, many audiences came, and I expect the same energy and response this time." Kim Seung-jin said, "I'm happy to participate again. Busan is one of my favorite cities."

Performance Schedule and Venues

Nam Ho-yeon, Choi Sung-min, and Kim Seung-jin's performances will take place from August 21 to 30 across various locations in Busan. The venues include the Busan Cinema Center, Haeundae Aquarium, and Dong-A Asia Culture Festival Center, among more than 10 locations. Each performer will stage one show, with performances starting at 7:30 PM. The shows are free of charge, and tickets will be available for pre-order on a first-come, first-served basis starting July 10 on the Busan International Comedy Festival official website.

The press conference began at 2 PM on July 24, 2026, at the Shocking K-Pop Center in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The venue is an event space located inside a shopping mall. The three cast members appeared in formal attire. Nam Ho-yeon wore a black suit with a white shirt, Choi Sung-min wore a gray suit, and Kim Seung-jin wore a blue suit.

The Busan International Comedy Festival is Asia's first and largest international comedy festival. The 2026 festival will run from August 21 to 30, spanning a total of 10 days. Marking its 14th year, the festival includes over 100 performances and more than 30 programs.
