Appearing on KBS1's 'AM Plaza' on the 14th, Hwang Yunsung revealed his special connection with Lee Chan-won during the 'Decisive Scenes of My Life' segment. Hwang showcased their extraordinary closeness, stating, "I talk to Lee Chan-won about five times a week."
In particular, he expressed his gratitude by sharing an anecdote from his national tour, during which Lee Chan-won sent coffee trucks, snack trucks, and even a skewer truck to support him. "Thanks to Lee Chan-won, I was able to endure the difficult and wandering times," Hwang added.
From 'Mujogeon' to New Song 'Nanri Blues'... Passionate Stages
During the broadcast, Hwang Yunsung opened the show by passionately singing Sang-Chul Park's 'Mujogeon' alongside Sin Seong-ho, I Rune, and Jeong Yeon-ho. Following this, he delivered a solo performance of his new song 'Nanri Blues,' drawing attention with a performance so intense that his microphone cord actually came unplugged while dancing.
He also reflected on his past, having challenged himself with trot music after previously being active as an idol. Sharing his honest feelings, Hwang said, "Since I didn't know much about trot, choosing songs was the hardest part. Hwang Yunsung made his presence felt by appearing on television for two consecutive days on the 13th and 14th. On the 13th, he joined the set of JTBC's 'Talkpawon 25시' as a one-day special correspondent, traveling through various parts of Seoul alongside Kim Sook and Fabien at the site where Lee Chan-won served as MC.
He showcased his variety skills, touring Jongmyo Shrine and Changdeokgung Palace while listening to stories about the high-ranking official stone markers and displaying witty banter.
