Seoul-Gimhae distance sinks Kim Doyoung and Yang Ha-yoon's match
On SBS's Child Release Project-Matching 2, Kim Doyoung and Yang Ha-yoon end their connection after confronting Seoul-Gimhae long-distance dating.
The Distance Between Seoul Oriental Medicine Doctor Yang Ha-yoon and Gimhae Office Worker Kim Doyoung
In the 5th episode of the SBS variety program 'Child Release Project-Matching 2' aired on the 23rd, Yang Ha-yoon, an oriental medicine doctor working in Seoul, and Kim Doyoung, an employee at a pharmaceutical company in Gimhae, sat down to face the issue of long-distance dating.

At the beginning of the broadcast, Kim Doyoung actively expressed his interest in Yang Ha-yoon to develop the relationship. However, the situation reversed once Yang Ha-yoon learned that Kim Doyoung resides in Gimhae. Having opened her own clinic only 6 or 7 months ago, Yang Ha-yoon worried about her own situation, which limits her freedom to travel.
"I Don't Want One-Sided Sacrifice," Yang Ha-yoon's Honest Confession
Yang Ha-yoon visited Kim Doyoung to carefully reveal her true feelings. She shared her values, stating, "When I meet someone, I don't want them to make too much of a sacrifice to accommodate me," explaining that if one person's sacrifice becomes too great, the relationship ultimately becomes unhealthy. She expressed the burden of long-distance dating, specifically noting her lack of time due to being in the early stages of running her clinic.
Kim Doyoung confessed, "Until she spoke up, I was dominated by the one-sided greed of thinking I could just accommodate her." Upon recognizing the situational circumstances, Kim Doyoung drew a line, saying, "I think we should wrap this up." While admitting his judgment might have been hasty, he chose to end the relationship out of consideration for Yang Ha-yoon's situation.
Yang Ha-yoon expressed her feelings, saying, "Actually, I didn't come here to say goodbye. I feel regretful because our conversation was so good." Kim Doyoung concluded the conversation by cheering for her future despite her regret.
"I Wanted to Hear That I Shouldn't Worry," Lingering Regrets
In an interview released after the broadcast, Yang Ha-yoon revealed her inner thoughts, saying, "The words I wanted to hear were, 'Don't worry about that.'" She expressed that, setting aside the distance issue, she had wanted to continue the conversation a bit longer.
Kim Doyoung also could not hide his complicated emotions. Upon returning to the accommodation, he showed no particular reaction even after hearing from his mother that he had used a secret conversation right with Kim Da-hye.
Kim Doyoung said, "I don't care if I am the one struggling, but I cannot burden the other person by saying 'It's okay.'"
MC Seo Jang Hoon offered comfort to the two, saying, "You've only met for a few days, so you can forget. Rather, think of it as an opportunity to meet an even better partner."
