Kim Tae Woo sparks laughs over H.O.T.'s mystery and god's natural image
On SBS's Same Bed, Different Dreams 2, Kim Tae Woo contrasts H.O.T. and god while reacting to Moon Hee-joon's married life.
"H.O.T. was mysterious, god was natural"
Kim Tae Woo of the group god mentioned the difference in image between the two groups representing the first generation of idols.
Appearing as a special MC on SBS's 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2' aired on the 28th, Kim Tae Woo showcased his wit while observing the daily life of H.O.T.'s Moon Hee-joon and his wife Park So-yul. When host Seo Jang Hoon asked why the remaining members except Moon Hee-joon are single, Kim Tae Woo pointed to the group's color as the reason.
Kim Tae Woo explained, "H.O.T. had a mysterious image from the start, but I think it's because our god had a natural image.\" In response, Moon Hee-joon playfully retorted, "So are you saying we are unnatural?", which caused laughter on set.
Perplexed by Moon Hee-joon's unexpected married life
Kim Tae Woo also expressed bewilderment at Moon Hee-joon's unexpected married life. Seeing Moon Hee-joon interfering in even the smallest details and nagging his wife, Kim Tae Woo pointed out, "Why are you meddling and nagging so much?" adding, "He wasn't that kind of person, but he's telling her every little thing."
Regarding this, Moon Hee-joon stated, "Nagging is shouting for the safety of the family," and lamented that he was on the verge of getting a stress-induced illness because his wife does not properly understand what he says.
"In the god days it was double digits, now it's triple digits"
Kim Tae Woo revealed his weight changes without reservation. He recalled, "My weight during the god days was in the double digits." In particular, he revealed that during promotions for the 6th album 'An Ordinary Day', he had the experience of reducing his weight to the low 80kg range.
However, regarding his recent status, he candidly confessed, "Now it's triple digits." When Kim Tae Woo, who is 190cm tall, revealed that his weight had increased, Moon Hee-joon joked, "I have never exceeded triple digits.\" Kim Tae Woo added that he attempted mastication exercises, such as chewing food for a long time for dieting, but it only took more time because he did not feel full quickly.
