Deep Water traps Aaron Eckhart and Ben Kingsley among Pacific sharks

The film Deep Water has confirmed its Korean release date for September 9, 2026.

The movie captures the intense situation of a passenger plane traveling from Los Angeles to Shanghai exploding mid-air due to fire and crashing into the Pacific Ocean. Over the course of 106 minutes, it depicts the characters struggling to survive amidst the dual threats of the sinking aircraft and a swarm of man-eating sharks circling the area.

Directed by Renny Harlin with powerful performances from the cast

Renny Harlin, who directed Die Hard 2, Cliffhanger, and Deep Blue Sea, takes the helm for this production.

Aaron Eckhart and Ben Kingsley star in the film. Recently released production stills capture the moment the plane crashes in the middle of the Pacific and the threat of shark swarms surrounding the aircraft as it sinks into the deep water. The visuals depict the two actors caught in an extreme disaster situation.

NK Contents to import, D-Station to distribute

NK Contents will import the film Deep Water, with D-Station handling distribution. KT Studio Genie participated as a co-provider.

The released production stills visualize the terror of the disaster through the pressure of the aircraft about to be submerged and the sharp teeth of sharks. The film Deep Water is scheduled to be screened in theaters nationwide on September 9 next year.
