Actor Jung Hae-in is set to voice the fish-human 'Gon' in the animated film 'Gills,' which has confirmed its nationwide theatrical release for September 9. Based on the novel by author Gu Byeong-mo, the distributor At Nine Film has officially begun its promotional activities by releasing the first poster.

The film 'Gills' tells the story of 'Gon,' the only child in a world who grew gills on the day he was thrown into deep water, and the people surrounding him. Director Ahn Jae-hoon has realized the imagination of the original novel through pictorial visual language.

This marks Jung Hae-in's first challenge with animation dubbing. Actor Kang Ha-neul takes on the role of 'Kang-ha,' who stays by Gon's side. Kang Ha-neul portrays a character who becomes family, a friend, and the entire world to Gon.
The relationships between the characters are connected through fleeting encounters and deep ties. Lee Chung-ah plays 'Hae-ryu,' who forms a connection with Gon, while Yoo Jae-myung plays the 'Old Man' who discovers Gon and embraces him so he can live in the world. Musical actress Kim Sun-young plays 'I-nyeong,' who creates the decisive event that leads Gon to face a new life.
