Ong Seongwu takes his first villain role in tvN's Spellbound and thrills Seoul fans with a solo fan meeting and Wanna One medley.
Actor Ong Seongwu is taking on his first villainous role since his debut through the new tvN drama 'Spellbound'. In this work, which began airing on July 18, Ong Seongwu plays Kang Min-hwan, a key character who controls the tension of the drama.

In a collaborative investigation romance where a hotel heiress who sees ghosts and a prosecutor who fears ghosts solve strange incidents, Ong Seongwu presented a side different from his existing image. This change was also reflected in the data. In the 29th week actor brand value rankings collected from July 13 to July 19, Ong Seongwu recorded 20,200 points and rose to 17th place. This is a result of rising reader recommendations and reading rates as interest gathered around the news of the first broadcast of 'Spellbound' and the character Kang Min-hwan.

On the 25th, Ong Seongwu held his solo fan meeting '2026 ONG SEONGWU FANMEETING' at the YES24 LIVE HALL in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. The stage began with TWS's 'OVERDRIVE' and continued with 10cm's 'Gradation', DAY6 Wonpil's 'Fortunate Day', and N.Flying's 'Flashback'.
