Ong Seongwu turns a summer fan meeting into a Wanna One singalong

A Summer Vacation with Idol Ong Seongwu
Actor Ong Seongwu built summer memories with his fans. On the 25th, Ong Seongwu held his solo fan meeting '2026 ONG SEONGWU FANMEETING' at YES24 LIVE HALL in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, meeting fans across two sessions.
Conceived as 'A Summer Vacation with Idol Ong Seongwu,' this performance was filled with a concert-level setlist. Ong Seongwu opened the stage with TWS's 'OVERDRIVE' to ramp up the atmosphere, then continued with genre-crossing cover stages including 10cm's 'Gradation,' DAY6 Wonpil's 'Fortune Teller,' and N.Flying's 'Flashback.' He also showcased a refreshing 'Heart Sign' performance.
Nostalgia for Wanna One Days and Sincere Communication
There was also a time to look back on the long journey spent with fans. Ong Seongwu performed a medley of 'Energetic,' 'Light,' and 'Show Me,' evoking nostalgia from his Wanna One days, to which the fans on-site responded with cheers.
Intense communication with fans followed. Based on pre-submitted questions, he conversed about the reasons he joined the fandom, characters and concepts he wants to challenge in the future, and more. In a mission corner held with fans, he personally performed various challenge moves that have recently become hot topics on SNS, such as the 'Gyaru Peace,' 'Para Para Dance,' and Choi Ye-na's 'Catch Catch.'
After finishing the performance, Ong Seongwu greeted fans with eye contact through a High-Bye event. Ong Seongwu stated, "Throughout the preparation for this performance, I was excited and happy thinking about showing it to the fans. I hope today remains a happy time for you all," adding, "I am grateful to the fans who always give me strength through your support and love. I will continue to develop so that I can also be a source of strength to you and show you a great side of myself."
Meanwhile, Ong Seongwu is appearing in the tvN drama 'Spellbound.' In this work, he is showcasing an acting transformation by taking on the role of 'Kang Min-hwan,' his first villain role since debut.
