The Cursed East Palace: Gu Cheon and Saeng Gang's Pursuit
As princes are discovered dead one after another, rumors shake the palace that the curse of the pond ghost has begun. Acting on the King's orders, Gu Cheon (Nam Joo Hyuk) is a swordsman who traverses the spirit realm to slay ghosts, while Saeng Gang (Roh Yoon-seo) is an inspector court lady who can hear the voices of spirits. Forced to break the curse before they can leave the palace, the two step toward the dark secrets hidden within the East Palace.

Nam Joo Hyuk anchors the series by transforming into Gu Cheon, a swordsman showcasing intense action. Roh Yoon-seo plays Saeng Gang, teaming up with Gu Cheon to solve the unfolding mysteries. Adding to the tension is Cho Seung-woo, who joins the cast as the King, a character who rarely reveals his true intentions. A solid supporting cast including Kwak Dong-yeon, Jang Young-nam, Tae In-ho, Hwang Young-hee, Hong Seo Joon, and Lee Hong-nae bolsters the production.

Based on Korean folklore and folk traditions, this 8-episode original drama reinterprets various entities such as ghost brides and vengeful spirits, featuring visuals that contrast the restrained aesthetic of the palace with the spirit realm.
Meanwhile, several new titles have arrived on OTT platforms this week alongside 'Good Bye My Princess.' On Netflix, the occult romance 'Spooky Romance' starring Park Eun-bin and Yang Se-jong has been released, while Disney+ has premiered 'Descendants: Wicked Wonderland,' which continues the world of 'Descendants: The Rebellious Red.'
