Kang Hun's quiet spell flips into nonstop chatter on My Bias, My Boss
Kang Hun revisits Kim Hye-jun's blunt first impression on Yuin Radio and shares set stories before My Bias, My Boss premieres August 3.
"Please make an effort" Kim Hye-jun shares her first impression of Kang Hun
Actor Kang Hun confessed that he was told he was "suffocating" by a fellow actor due to his extreme shyness on set. Appearing on the YouTube channel Yuin Radio on the 22nd, Kang Hun revealed his quiet nature through episodes from the filming of the drama 'My Bias, My Boss.'

Kang Hun explained that he tends to be reserved in front of strangers, as he is cautious about making slips of the tongue that might hurt someone. He noted that he thinks so much about what he says that he often ruminates on his words even after returning home, so he chooses to remain silent instead.
This personality was fully on display during his first meeting with actress Kim Hye-jun, with whom he filmed the drama for seven months. Kim Hye-jun candidly shared her feelings regarding her first impression of Kang Hun on set, stating, "It was suffocating." She added that while she also tends to be shy, she made an effort to improve the atmosphere on set, whereas Kang Hun made no effort at all, which left her feeling upset. Kim Hye-jun even directly requested, "Could you please make an effort?" at the time.
"Later, I asked him to be quiet" A 180-degree change in their relationship
Recalling the situation, Kang Hun made the set burst into laughter by self-deprecatingly saying, "I guess I had a bit of a celebrity complex back then." Kim Hye-jun mentioned that because Cha Woo-min was also introverted, the atmosphere became suffocating whenever the three of them gathered. However, Kang Hun noted the change in their relationship, saying, "By the end, the three of us had become very close."
After becoming close, Kang Hun showed a completely different side. Kim Hye-jun revealed that once they grew close, Kang Hun became incredibly talkative, to the point where she eventually had to ask, "Can you be a little quiet?" Kang Hun explained that since he had to play a bright character in the drama, he intentionally acted more cheerful to help ease the tension of his co-stars. Kim Hye-jun added, "He is very considerate of others. It was just his own way of relieving my tension."
"Our Great Actor" The reason his sister's attitude changed
Kang Hun also recalled an episode involving his older sister that he previously mentioned on MBC's 'Radio Star.' At the time, he shared an anecdote where he called his sister to tell her he had received an award, only to receive cold responses like, "Passersby don't even know who you are" and "If you watch 'The Red Sleeve,' you won't know him."
Recently, his sister's attitude has changed completely. Kang Hun shared the shift in atmosphere, noting that his sister now calls him "Our Great Actor." The decisive reason is that his sister gave birth to a baby. Since Kang Hun is buying everything for his first niece/nephew, he shared the pleasant update that his sister now treats him so well that she greets him with open arms.
Meanwhile, the new tvN Monday-Tuesday drama 'My Bias, My Boss,' starring Kang Hun and Kim Hye-jun, will premiere on August 3 at 8:45 PM.
