Hyeri keeps singing as her shoulder strap snaps on 'Ring My Bell'

Hyeri completed her performance to the end despite experiencing a wardrobe malfunction during her Seoul fan-meeting. The '2026 HYERI ASIA TOUR FANMEETING HYERIDE IN SEOUL', held on June 13 at the Samsung Hall, ECC, Ewha Womans University in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, served as the starting point for this year's Asia fan-meeting tour.

Shoulder strap broke during 'Ring My Bell' stage

The performance was scheduled for two sessions that day, at 2 PM and 6:30 PM. The accident occurred during a stage featuring a medley of Girl's Day hits. While Hyeri was singing 'Ring My Bell', one of the shoulder straps of her top broke, creating a situation where her clothing could slip down.

Hyeri appeared momentarily startled but quickly continued her movements while holding her outfit in place with her hand. Even during choreography that required bending at the waist, she finished the stage by securing her clothes. The moment, where she did not interrupt the flow of the performance despite the unexpected situation, reaffirmed her seasoned sense of being on stage for a long time.

The medley included songs reminiscent of Girl's Day's activities, such as 'Something', 'Ring My Bell', 'Darling', 'Expectation', and 'Twinkle'. Although Hyeri is now active more broadly as an actress and variety show MC, bringing out songs from her girl group era at the fan-meeting was akin to a direct gift to long-time fans.

Seoul fan-meeting styled with a travel concept

This fan-meeting was designed around the concept of Hyeri and her fandom, Hyerumi, going on a journey together. The opening featured a dance cover of Tyla's 'Water', and the second part included a stage for Jennie's 'Damn Right'.

With segments including talk, games, responding to fan messages, and a pajama party-style corner, the event went beyond just showing a few songs to become a fan event that reviewed Hyeri's career all at once. A significant aspect of this stage was how Hyeri reflected elements that fans wanted to see starting from the planning stage.

At the fan-meeting, Hyeri said, “I am truly happy to meet you again after one year,” and added, “Since I am who I am today thanks to all of you, I will not forget that feeling and will continue to show you great sides of myself.” Her ability to take responsibility for the stage even after the wardrobe accident demonstrated the weight of those words within the performance.

Support from Yura and Bang Min Ah, next stop Macau

Girl's Day members Yura and Bang Min Ah also attended the Seoul performance to support Hyeri. The Girl's Day medley and the presence of the members naturally intertwined Hyeri's current activities with her past group activities on a single stage.

After completing the Seoul performance, Hyeri is scheduled to meet fans in Macau on July 11, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on August 1, Hong Kong on August 29, and Taipei, Taiwan on September 5.
