"The best physical condition at 60" The tenacity of J.Y. Park, who recorded 9.2% body fat

J.Y. Park, a singer in his 32nd year since debut, is making headlines for the tenacity he pours into keeping his promise to deliver the best stage even when he turns 60. Recently revealing a body profile photo with a body fat percentage of 9.2% through a broadcast, he revealed a high-level diet and lifestyle philosophy that goes beyond simple self-management.

Singer Park Jin-young Demonstrates Strict Self-Management with 9.2% Body Fat Percentage

Through JTBC's 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator since 2014' and MBC's 'Omniscient Interfering View,' J.Y. Park has candidly shown his daily life, which had previously been shrouded in mystery. In particular, his organic diet practiced for health and the strict routine he has maintained for over 20 years have established themselves as a single system.

He conveyed the importance of diet, stating, "You must eat many different colored vegetables to age slowly." When Ahn Jung-hwan asked how old he wants to live until, J.Y. Park replied, "I want to maintain my best physical condition at 60." It is a goal to keep his promise to his fans.

In the recently taken body profile photo, J.Y. Park's body fat percentage reached 9.2%. Having lowered his figure from the original 12–13% range, he is continuing management to the point where he cannot consume carbohydrates for the next three months. J.Y. Park stated, "I promised to show the best dancing and singing at 60, and now there are only 5 years left," revealing that he built his body with the determination to do really well in those final five years. He said, "There are parts that have declined compared to my 20s and 30s, but overall, my physical condition is best right now."

JYP Cafeteria with 2 Billion Won Annual Investment and Organic Management Philosophy

J.Y. Park's organic philosophy extends beyond his personal refrigerator to the entirety of JYP Entertainment. He expressed his conviction regarding the operation of the company cafeteria, saying, "If I am the only one eating good things, I wouldn't be able to look my employees in the face." In fact, the JYP cafeteria provides an organic diet at the same level as what J.Y. Park eats himself.

To maintain this system, which uses cold-pressed organic products even for cooking oil, the cost invested reaches approximately 2 billion won annually. This diet is provided identically not only to singers but also to employees and trainees. Regarding the operation of the cafeteria, which costs billions of won in maintenance annually, J.Y. Park said, "That is what I earned money to do."

He also emphasizes correct and good influence for the next generation during new employee orientations. This aligns with a management philosophy that supports all members so they can work in a healthy environment.

A routine continued for over 20 years and the excitement for the stage

J.Y. Park's daily life moves according to a routine designed by the minute. This routine, which he has kept for over 20 years, includes an organic breakfast, memorizing 20 English words, a foot massage for his dog Hodu, 90 minutes of exercise, and vocal practice. His 'ultra-efficient life' to save time is also notable. Not only does he wear only two sets of clothes each season, but he also uses a self-designed 'artificial part' to reduce the time spent styling his hair every morning.

He even compared his celebrity activities to a 'long-distance unrequited love,' saying that due to company work, he has less than one month in a year to actually act as a celebrity. Additionally, he maintains a horizontal communication method where all employees call him 'J.Y. Park-ssi.' He explained the reason, saying, "If they call me CEO or Chairman, I feel like I won't be able to dance."

Despite being in his 32nd year since debut, J.Y. Park still does not lose the excitement on stage. Ahead of his broadcast appearance, he introduced himself as an 'elderly singer whose heart is still that of a rookie,' saying he is still trembling and excited. Recently invited back to the Waterbomb stage, he filled the stage by personally demonstrating the sweat-wiping point choreography for his new song 'WET.'

His tenacity leads to nurturing juniors. Meeting the rookie girl group Ourverse, who are preparing for their debut, he gave advice, saying, "Compare yourself to your self from last year, not to others," hoping they become singers who last long rather than just reaching the top. He continues to support the growth of his juniors while remaining active for the 32nd year.
