Comedian Kim Won-hun has shared an anecdote regarding the peculiar distance he feels from his senior, Jang Do Yeon, and an unexpected congratulatory phone call.

Appearing on episode 147 of the web variety show 'Salon Drip 2' on the YouTube channel 'TEO' on the 7th, Kim Won-hun engaged in witty banter with Jang Do Yeon alongside singer pH-1. During the appearance, Kim candidly confessed the sense of distance he usually feels from Jang Do Yeon. He began by saying, "I've met Jang Do Yeon sunbae a few times passing by, but I always felt a distance that made it impossible to get truly close."

The real highlight traces back to 2022. When Kim Won-hun's channel 'Shortbox' was beginning to gain massive popularity, he received a sudden phone call from Jang Do Yeon. Jang Do Yeon revealed that she was slightly tipsy at the time and offered encouragement in informal speech over the phone, saying, "Won-hun, huge congratulations on Shortbox doing so well. I'm really enjoying it. Keep up the hard work."

Kim Won-hun brought laughter to the set by explaining that while Jang Do Yeon had offered friendly informal congratulations while tipsy, she reverted to maintaining distance when they met in person. He recounted the situation, saying, "I thought we were somewhat close, so I tried to greet her familiarly, but Jang Do Yeon sunbae just greeted me formally with 'Hello.'"

In response, Kim Won-hun jokingly quipped, "You didn't even look my way when I was a raw gem, did you?" to which Jang Do Yeon sincerely replied, "I'm sorry."
