'Infinite Challenge Run,' which brings the universe of the legendary variety show Infinite Challenge to life in reality, is heading to Gyeongju. The organizer, MOST267, announced that the '2026 Infinite Challenge Run in Gyeongju' will be held on September 19 at 4:30 PM, starting from the Gyeongju Civic Stadium.

2026 Infinite Challenge Run to Feature Chase Concept Between Guards and Bandits in Gyeongju

The core concept of this race is a 'treasure hunt.' The setting features 'Po-jol' (traditional police officers) trying to protect the city's treasures and 'Bandits' attempting to steal them, all running together. Participants will run alongside Infinite Challenge members through iconic historic sites in Gyeongju, including Cheomseongdae, Cheonmachong (Daereungwon Tomb Complex), Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, Gyeongju Gyochon Village, and the entrance to the Bomun Tourist Complex.

First-ever Half Course Added... Pre-sales Begin July 30

The race structure has also been updated. In addition to the existing 10km course, a half course (approximately 21km) has been added for the first time to stimulate runners' desire for challenge. Participants will be divided into Po-jol teams and Bandit teams to compete in the race, with the final victory determined by each team's average completion time.

Ticket reservations will proceed in stages. Pre-sales for Coupang Play mobile app 'Sports Pass' subscribers will begin on July 30 at 12:00 PM, followed by general sales for Wow members and Sports Pass users at 8:00 PM on the same day. From July 31 at 10:00 AM, anyone can purchase tickets through Kakao Gift.

All participants will receive a limited edition 'Po-jol and Bandits' race pack, and a celebratory performance set against the backdrop of Gyeongju's scenery will follow the end of the race. The specific lineup of performers and further details will be released separately at a later date.
