MONSTA X Hyung-won and Shownu make WATERBOMB their anniversary stage

MONSTA X Hyung-won delivered a performance on a summer festival stage. On the 25th, Hyung-won took the stage at 'WATERBOMB SEOUL 2026' held at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang, Gyeonggi-do, performing alongside Shownu. This stage served as a celebration for the 3rd anniversary of the two's unit activities.

After finishing the performance, Hyung-won posted photos from the WATERBOMB site on his SNS on the 26th. In the photos, Hyung-won is seen wearing a white short-sleeved T-shirt and dark-colored pants in front of a 'WATERBOMB' logo structure. The post included the phrase "Syeo 3 Hyeong."

Hyung-won, a member of the six-member boy group MONSTA X who debuted in 2015 with the 1st mini album 'TREMPASS', serves as the lead dancer and sub-vocalist within the team. MONSTA X consists of Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyung-won, JOOHONEY, and I.M.

Hyung-won served in the Republic of Korea Army Capital Mechanized Infantry Division from November 2023 to May 2025, and was honorably discharged as a sergeant. He is currently balancing full group activities for MONSTA X with unit and individual content activities.

He is also continuing his activities as an actor and broadcaster. He has appeared in dramas such as 'Please Find Her', 'Fly, Again', 'Oh! Young-shim', and the TVING series 'CEO-dol Mart'. On broadcast programs, he has served as an MC for 'Show! Music Core', 'THE SHOW', and 'Inkigayo', and has appeared on JTBC's 'Mix & the City', 'Han Moonchul's Dashcam Review', 'Absolutely Nothing Prepared', and 'Shuming's Ramen Shop'.

'WATERBOMB SEOUL 2026' continues until the 26th. On the final day, J.Y. Park, Sunmi, Zico, Taeyong, WJSN Dayoung, RIIZE, H1-KEY, and 82 Major are scheduled to appear.
