BTOB's Minhyuk (HUTA) has signaled the start of his comeback with a video capturing raw, wild energy.

On the 23rd, his agency, BTOB Company, released the visualizer for 'KO', a track from his new single album 'TEMPERATURE', via official SNS channels.

The song's title and core concept draw a double meaning from the surname of Ko Seok-hyeon, an active UFC fighter, and the 'K.O (Knockout)' used to defeat opponents in a match. Minhyuk showcased his artistry by participating directly in the song's lyrics and composition. Combining the explosive power of rock sounds with the heavy groove of hip-hop, the track expresses a fierce determination to prove oneself through intense sound.

Industrial Direction Utilizing Wire Mesh and Chains

The released video visually maximizes the unique texture of the track's industrial hip-hop style.

Based on a heavy monochrome color palette, the video features wire mesh cages, chains, and a countdown timer that rapidly shrinks for 60 seconds, capturing the exploding energy within a limited timeframe. Silhouettes of black panthers and scattering sand effects are added to support Minhyuk's dynamic performance.

In the video, Minhyuk conveys the song's message through gestures, utilizing a fierce gaze and overwhelming physicality. Despite being a short clip, it visually implements the song's atmosphere by capturing the escalating emotions and rough movements within the 60-second limit.
