In the June 15 broadcast of the KBS2 daily drama 'Pearl in Red,' it was made clear that Kim Dan-hee's (played by Park Jin Hee) target for revenge is Oh Jeong-ran (played by Kim Hee-jung). Dan-hee visited Jeong-ran, who was trapped in the basement, to voice the resentment she had long endured, while Park Tae-ho (played by Choi Jae-sung), having regained consciousness, unleashed sharp anger toward his wife and son Hyeon-jun (played by Kang Da-bin).

Scenes where Dan-hee presents an application for divorce by agreement to Jeong-ran and shakes Jeong-ran's even familial relationships revealed that the power struggle within the Adele family is intertwined with family collapse.

Awakened Park Tae-ho Expresses Anger Toward Jeong-ran and Hyeon-jun

Park Tae-ho's return also changed the direction of the family conflict. Tae-ho expressed a sense of betrayal upon hearing that the marriage of Hyeon-jun and Chloe proceeded while he was unconscious, and even issued instructions to confine Jeong-ran in the basement.
