Park Hae-soo explains the meaning of 'The Price' paid through confession

Alongside the show's success, interpretations surrounding the meaning of the title have become a hot topic. In a recent interview, actor Park Hae-soo explained the exact meaning behind the title 'The Price of Confession.' He clarified that the title does not refer to a 'great person' (dae-ga), but rather to the 'price' (dae-ga) that must be paid through the act of confession.

This clarification stems from Park Hae-soo's remarks during the production press conference. At the time, when Park referred to the title as 'The Price of Confession' (using a term that could be read as a romance genre), online reactions suggested genre confusion between thriller and melodrama. Directed by Lee Jung-hyo and written by Jong-kwan Kwon, the drama completed filming from August 2024 to March 23, 2025.
