10 Years of Giving by Fan Club 'YOO&I', Reaching 122 million Won in Cumulative Donations
To celebrate actor Gong Yoo's birthday, his official fan club 'YOO&I' has delivered a donation for children battling pediatric cancer. According to the Korea Pediatric Leukemia Foundation, the fan club donated 10 million won to support children undergoing treatment for pediatric cancer and rare incurable diseases.

This donation is the result of consistent, regular giving practiced by the fan club for 10 years. Since they began donating proceeds from the 'Beautiful Moment' bazaar hosted by Gong Yoo in 2017, fans have lent their support to children with pediatric cancer every year on his birthday. With this latest contribution added to the 112 million won accumulated through last year, the total cumulative amount has reached 122 million won. To date, these funds have been used to support the treatment of 16 children with pediatric cancer and their families.
A representative from the fan club stated, "Thanks to Gong Yoo's steady positive influence, the fans have been able to continue this sharing for 10 years. We hope this warm heart continues to be delivered to children with pediatric cancer as hope."
Seo Seon-won, Secretary General of the Korea Pediatric Leukemia Foundation, also expressed gratitude to the fan club for supporting the children with unwavering devotion over the long period of 10 years.
'Guardian' Cast's Gangneung Trip: The Special Bond Between Military Seniors and Juniors Gong Yoo and Lee Dong-wook
A special reunion celebrating the 10th anniversary of the drama 'Guardian' (쓸쓸하고 찬란하神-도깨비) has been revealed. The final episode of the tvN 20th Anniversary Edition 'Brilliant Because We Are Together: Guardian 10th Anniversary Trip' captures the final story of the trip spent in Gangneung by the four actors: Gong Yoo, Lee Dong-wook, Kim Go-eun, and Yoo In-na.
On the morning of the second day of the trip, Gong Yoo transformed into 'Chef Gong' to prepare hangover relief dishes, sharing glimpses of daily life. Having worked together for a long time, he showed bickering chemistry reminiscent of a married couple with Kim Go-eun, while Lee Dong-wook showed an affectionate side by giving a surprise gift to Yoo In-na.
Hidden connections between the actors were also revealed. Gong Yoo and Lee Dong-wook were senior and junior during their military service. Lee Dong-wook previously made the set erupt in laughter on a variety show while reminiscing about Gong Yoo's military days, remarking, "I washed all his underwear and socks."
During the subsequent Yut Nori competition, the group split into Team Gong Yoo/Yoo In-na and Team Lee Dong-wook/Kim Go-eun to compete in a match with dishwashing on the line.
