Lee Dong-wook says he 'raised' Gong Yoo in barracks confession
Lee Dong-wook recalls washing Gong Yoo's underwear and socks as the Goblin cast wraps its 10th anniversary trip in Gangneung on tvN.
"I washed all of Gong Yoo's underwear and socks"
Actor Lee Dong-wook revealed an episode from his military service days where he washed Gong Yoo's underwear. In the 4th episode of tvN's 'Because We Are Together - Goblin 10th Anniversary Trip,' airing at 9:10 PM on the 12th, the final journey of the 'Goblin' leads follows the drama's main stars in Gangneung.

The connection between the two dates back to 2009, before they filmed the drama. Gong Yoo and Lee Dong-wook first met as senior and junior in the military. At the time, Gong Yoo was a sergeant and Lee Dong-wook was a private, creating a strict hierarchy where they could barely even make eye contact. As Gong Yoo recalled, "I couldn't even look him in the eye," Lee Dong-wook joked, "I'm saying this now, but I washed all of Gong Yoo's underwear and socks. I practically raised him."
Yut Nori and a Culinary Journey in Gangneung
On the second day of the trip, the four actors spent their time at 'Kkaebi House,' their accommodation in Gangneung. Gong Yoo headed to the kitchen to prepare hangover food, showing off his 'Chef Gong' side. During this process, he bickered with Kim Go-eun, appearing as though they had worked together for a long time.
Lee Dong-wook also presented a pre-prepared gift to Yoo In-na. The subsequent highlight was a game of Yut Nori with a bet involving doing the dishes. Gong Yoo and Yoo In-na formed one team, facing off against Lee Dong-wook and Kim Go-eun. The actors enjoyed a culinary tour eating squid sundae and makguksu, while recording their travel moments through bicycle riding and visiting a drawing photo studio.
This special is directed by Hwang Da-won, and the final episode will air tonight at 9:10 PM.
