Reunion of the Devil Instructor and the Trainee

Ahead of its premiere on August 7, the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Chaebol X Detective 2' has released a group poster capturing the unique personalities of the Ganghaseo Violent Crimes Team 1. This series is a collaborative investigation drama featuring Jin Yi-soo (played by Ahn Bo-hyun), a chaebol detective who flips the script with his wealth whenever an investigation hits a dead end, and the newly appointed team leader Joo Hye-ra (played by Jung Eun-chae).

The two characters are linked by their past at the police academy, where Joo Hye-ra was the 'Devil Instructor' and Jin Yi-soo was the trainee who underwent her harsh training. Through this project, Jung Eun-chae takes on her first challenge in the comic action genre. "I was curious about how the unfamiliar Joo Hye-ra would clash with and permeate the existing world," Jung Eun-chae said. "I wanted to portray a character who is blunt yet human and independent."

A Poster Capturing the Personalities of Ganghaseo Violent Crimes Team 1

The released poster captures the atmosphere of the four characters set against the backdrop of the Ganghaseo Violent Crimes Team 1 office. Positioned in the center, Jin Yi-soo wears a bright mint-colored shirt and a headset while smiling, while Joo Hye-ra looks as if she is suppressing the urge to scold him, calling him a 'nutcase!'

The team members also show distinct personalities. Park Jun-young (played by Kang Sang-jun) displays his principled nature with eyes trembling at Jin Yi-soo's appearance, while the MZ youngest member Choi Kyung-jin (played by Kim Shin-bi) is seen observing Jin Yi-soo's every move. The poster features the phrase 'DIFFERENT CLASS. SAME JUSTICE.'

'Chaebol X Detective 2' premieres on Friday, August 7, at 9:50 PM.
