WHIB heads to Romania for their first European stage at K-POP DAYS
CJES Studio says WHIB will perform Aug. 1-2 at K-POP DAYS in Constanta County, Romania, marking the group's European debut stage.
High-end boy group WHIB is expanding their activities beyond Asia and into Europe.
Agency CJES Studio announced on the 20th that WHIB (Kim Jun-min, Ha Seung, Jin-beom, Yoo Gun, Lee Jung, Jae-ha, Won-jun) has been invited as an official artist for the music festival 'K-POP DAYS,' which will be held over two days from August 1 to 2 at the 'Nibiru Arena' in Constanta County, Romania. This stage marks the first time WHIB will stand before European fans since their debut.
A massive K-pop festival held at a 21-hectare complex
Planned for the first time this year, 'K-POP DAYS' is a large-scale music festival specialized by genre, reflecting the local K-POP craze in Romania. The event is hosted by Selly (CEO of Selly Media Network), who led 'Beach, Please!', Europe's largest hip-hop festival.
The 'Nibiru' location on the Costinești beach in Romania, where the performance will take place, is a massive festival-dedicated complex spanning approximately 21 hectares (about 60,000 pyeong). WHIB has completed their stage composition, focusing on the representative songs they have showcased so far. The specific performance order and timetable are expected to be released through the organizer's official channels at a later date.
Global steps expanding to Europe following Asia tours
WHIB's upcoming entry into Europe is an extension of their ongoing global activities. They conducted the 'ETERNAL YOUTH' Asia fan meetup tour through Bangkok, Manila, and Hong Kong in 2024, and completed their first fan concert tour 'AnD' in five cities, including Tokyo and Taipei, this past January.
On January 29, they officially began full-scale activities as a seven-member group with the release of their first mini-album 'ROCK THE NATION.' Having built a foundation by touring major Asian cities, WHIB will now expand their target range to the European market starting with this performance in Romania.
