WHIB races into summer with Cherry Pie and fan-favorite Make It
WHIB sets an August 5 comeback with second mini album Cherry Pie, featuring member-written songs, fan-requested Make It, and KZ-led producers.
Group WHIB is returning to fans with new music capturing the freshness of midsummer. On the 23rd, their agency C-JeS Studio revealed the tracklist for WHIB's second mini album, 'Cherry Pie,' via official SNS.
In the released images, the members are shown running energetically against a backdrop of lush green meadows and fresh foliage. The visuals, which radiate the free energy of midsummer, offer a glimpse into the concept of this new release.
Member Self-Compositions and Long-Awaited Unreleased Tracks Included
Musical participation from the members is prominent in this second mini album. A total of five tracks are included: the title track 'Cherry Pie,' along with 'Pages Of Us,' 'MoTTo,' 'Can't Stop=Not Found,' and 'Make It.'
In particular, the fourth track, 'Can't Stop=Not Found,' saw members HJ and Kim Jun-min participate in both lyrics and composition. The fifth track, 'Make It,' is a song that has received continuous requests from fans for an official release since it was first unveiled during their debut album showcase. This track, which finally meets the world through this album, features lyrics written by members Yoo Gun and Kim Jun-min (Jader).
Collaborations with Producers Including KZ and Kim Tae-young
To enhance the album's quality, K-pop producers have also lent their expertise. Led by producers KZ and Kim Tae-young, the project involved songwriters from the JOOMBAS (153/JOOMBAS) label and WUTAN.
WHIB will begin promotions on August 5 at 6 PM, simultaneously releasing all digital tracks from their second mini album 'Cherry Pie' and the music video for the title track.
