A Scene of Youth Captured in School Uniform Styling

The group Unis has entered the official countdown for their formal debut in the Japanese market. Their agency, F&F Entertainment, sequentially released the 'School-style' version concept photos for Unis's first Japanese mini album, 'UNI☆Sparkle!', from the 17th to the 23rd.

In the released photos, the eight members—Jin Hyeon-ju, Nana, Jelly Danka, Kotoko, Bang Yunha, Elysia, Oh Yoona, and Lim Seo-won—showcase school uniform styling paired with ribbon ties and knit vests. Utilizing props such as digital cameras, diaries, candy, and sunglasses, the members recreate moments of youth as if they were on a school trip, revealing the high-teen sensibility that Unis pursues.

5 Tracks Featuring Y2K Mood, Title Track 'GimmeSummer☆' Pre-released

The Japanese debut album 'UNI☆Sparkle!' was produced based on Japanese pop culture sensibilities and a Y2K mood. The album contains a total of five tracks, including the title track 'GimmeSummer☆', which is Unis's first summer song, as well as Japanese versions of 'MoshiMoshi♡', 'mwah…', 'BBYBBY', and 'SWICY'. The title track 'GimmeSummer☆' emphasizes the refreshing feeling of summer by telling the story of girls growing up between love and friendship.

Unis is continuing local promotions ahead of the album release. On the 17th, they expanded their connection with Japanese fans by pre-releasing the music release and the full version of the music video for the title track 'GimmeSummer☆'.

Full-scale Japanese Activities to Begin with First Mini Album Release on the 31st

Unis will take its first step into the Japanese market with the official release of their first mini album, 'UNI☆Sparkle!', on the 31st. This album is the result of combining a school look concept, where every member showcases a different charm, with musical attempts at Y2K sensibility.

The agency plans to imprint Unis's unique high-teen universe onto the Japanese market through this album. Starting with their Japanese debut in late July, Unis is scheduled to continue activities through local media and various channels.
