Taemin teases ants, sugar cubes and a 12-city LiMiNaL world tour

Singer Taemin has announced the start of a large-scale world tour to meet fans around the world alongside the release of his new album.

Taemin will release his new album, 'PHASE 1 : SOFT VIOLENCE', at 6 p.m. on August 31. Simultaneously with his comeback, Taemin released a poster containing the first leg of the '2026-27 TAEMIN WORLD TOUR [LiMiNaL]' schedule through his official SNS channels at 11 a.m. on the 28th.

Touring 12 Cities Starting in Seoul, Including North and South America

The first leg of this tour will take place in a total of 12 cities across North and South America, starting with Seoul. Following the Seoul performance, he will visit six cities in North America: San Jose, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Grand Prairie, Chicago, and New York. He will then visit Monterrey and Mexico City in Mexico, Santiago in Chile, and Lima in Peru in South America.

The tour title, 'LiMiNaL', is derived from the Latin word 'Limen' (boundary). The name defines a boundary not as an end, but as a point where new change begins.

New Album Concept Featuring Sugar Cubes and Ants

The visual elements released ahead of the album release are also drawing attention. Following the release of a video containing the phrase 'This is' on the 23rd, Taemin showcased the poster for the new album 'PHASE 1 : SOFT VIOLENCE' on the 24th. The poster features objects such as sugar cubes and ants, hinting at the album's concept.

A teaser poster for the world tour was also released. Taemin's appearance revealed through a gap in the poster visually captures the atmosphere of this tour.

This year, Taemin stood before a global audience on the stage of the 'Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival' in the United States and has continued his global activities, even performing at 'BST Hyde Park' in the United Kingdom.
