WJSN Dayoung splashes into Waterbomb with Jay Park and 'Overtime'

WJSN Dayoung met with the audience through her first-ever Waterbomb stage. Dayoung performed at 'Waterbomb Seoul 2026,' held at the KINTEX Outdoor Global Stage in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do, on the 25th and 26th.

On the first day of the performance, the 25th, Dayoung joined singer Jay Park's stage as a guest. Delivering a dynamic performance during Jay Park's hit song 'MOMMAE' stage, Dayoung also carried out the subsequent 'Keep It Sexy (MOMMAE 2)' stage. After finishing the performance, Jay Park and Dayoung posted photos taken together on their respective SNS, drawing attention as entertainer Jang Sung-kyu left a comment on the post.

First Reveal of Unreleased New Song 'Overtime'

Taking the stage for a solo performance on the 26th, Dayoung showcased a different energy from the previous day. Opening with the song 'What's a Girl to Do,' Dayoung continued the stage with 'Priceless (Kaching Kaching).'

In particular, she revealed the unreleased new song 'Overtime,' which has not yet been officially released, for the first time during this stage. The new song stage, which combined a sensual beat with Dayoung's vocal color, drew cheers from the audience. Following this, during the title track 'body' stage, she continued her performance while syncing with dancers amidst pouring streams of water. Dayoung moved to the front of the stage to communicate with the audience by making eye contact and explaining the songs, then concluded the stage with 'Marry Me (REMIX ver.)' and a cover of Justin Bieber's 'Beauty and a Beat,' before finishing with the encore song 'body.'

After completing her first Waterbomb stage since debut, Dayoung shared her thoughts through her agency, Starship Entertainment. Dayoung said, "Since it was my first time on a Waterbomb stage, I was both nervous and excited, but seeing Ujung and the audience who visited the venue sincerely enjoying themselves and cheering passionately gave me great strength over the past two days."

She added, "From the joint stage with senior Jay Park to my unreleased song and cover songs, I prepared hard, making it an even more rewarding and unforgettable moment." Dayoung will continue her summer festival activities by performing at 'Waterbomb Sokcho 2026,' scheduled for August 22nd.
